Mined from 81 distinct builds in the current top WarcraftLogs parses. The tables below show which hero talent the best Marksmanship players actually run on each boss and key.

This page ranks Marksmanship Hunter talent builds from top WarcraftLogs parses across raid bosses and Mythic+ keys. We looked at 117 parses and found 81 distinct talent strings, but every single parse used the Sentinel hero talent — a 100% share. The table lists the most popular builds per encounter, with the hero talent noted for each.
Takeaways: Sentinel is universal; no other hero talent appears in the top parses for any boss or dungeon. For raid, most bosses show five listed builds, while The Twin Fangs has only two, suggesting less variety there. In Mythic+, both high keys and farm runs show five builds per dungeon, so the same talent setups carry over.
When reading the table, focus on the build strings and the hero talent column. If you're copying a build, match the exact talents for your encounter. Since Sentinel is used everywhere, you can safely build around it, but check the specific boss or dungeon for the listed variants.
