WORLD OF WARCRAFT: FOREVER · MACROS
Mage macros: 23 macros grouped by use
The same library as the macro panel in the GearInsight Forever addon. Spell names are already filled in for your language: copy, make a new macro in game and paste. Each card shows the level you can use it from; below that level the spells are not learned yet.
Crowd control and interrupts
Polymorph your focus, mouseover or target
Casts Polymorph on your focus if you have a living enemy focus; otherwise on the enemy under your mouse; otherwise on your target.
#showtooltip Polymorph /cast [@focus,harm,nodead][@mouseover,harm,nodead][] Polymorph
Polymorph, and Shift sets the focus first
With Shift held, makes the enemy under your mouse (or your target) your focus and sheeps it. Without Shift, re-sheeps your focus, or your target if you have no focus.
#showtooltip Polymorph /focus [mod:shift,@mouseover,harm,nodead][mod:shift] /cast [@focus,harm,nodead][] Polymorph
Counterspell your focus, even mid-cast
Stops whatever you're casting, then Counterspells your focus, the enemy under your mouse or your target, in that order.
#showtooltip Counterspell /stopcasting /cast [@focus,harm,nodead][@mouseover,harm,nodead][] Counterspell
Frost Nova right now
Cancels the spell you're casting and casts Frost Nova at once, freezing enemies around you for up to 8 sec.
#showtooltip Frost Nova /stopcasting /cast Frost Nova
Frostbolt rank 1 to slow for less mana
Casts rank 1 of Frostbolt: little damage, very little mana, and still the 40% slow (5 sec at rank 1, 6 sec at rank 2 and more after that in the client).

Staying alive
Blink, even while casting
Stops your current cast and Blinks you 20 yards forward, breaking stuns and roots.
#showtooltip Blink /stopcasting /cast Blink
Ice Block, press again to break it
Casts Ice Block. If you're already in Ice Block, the same key breaks it (the /cancelaura line removes it and the /cast line then fails on its cooldown).
#showtooltip Ice Block /stopcasting /cancelaura Ice Block /cast Ice Block
